So Far So Good
It has been two day and we have not eaten out. That is good. The bad part is Monday my daughter ate cereal for dinner and last night my son ate cereal. Oh well. What can a girl do? I think I will start menu planning. I may even start using coupons.

Eating at home. Hmmmmm.
We eat out a lot. So, I have decided to eat at home for 30 days, excluding special events. I will have to be diligent on doing the dishes. I hate the dirty dishes. They seem to be never ending. Seriously, never ending.
7:30 am breakfast dishes
8:30 am more breakfast dishes
11:30 am lunch dishes
1:00 pm snack dishes
3:30 pm another snack dishes
5:30 pm dinner dishes
7:30 pm snack dishes.
My only saving grace is my daughter loves cereal and pasta. You gotta love that. So easy.
Did I mention, I am not a good cook! There is a reason why we eat out so much. That is probably an understatement, but I am willing to follow recipes. I can cook a handful of things well, but that does not mean it will turn out every time. My husband says my cooking is either really good or really bad and there is no in between. I have a tendency toover cook burn things. I think, in my head, oh this needs a few more minutes. A smart person would set a timer, but not me because it is only a few more minutes. Then I usually hear, "Mom what is that smell?" OOOPS
